When we’re completely focused
on the present moment, rather
than dwelling on the past or
stressing about the future,
our body chemistry shifts
into a relaxed state. Schedule
some time with yourself to
do something you love. It’s
as simple as that. Go to the
beach, read a good book, get a
pedicure. Through the course
of the VowTo Program, women
receive gift boxes filled with
treats to pamper and empower
themselves. Do what your body loves to do.
Instead of spending all those
miserable hours in the gym doing
things that you hate, think about
what your body would love to
do. Dancing? Hula-hooping?
Rollerblading? Do more of
that! Your body and your mind
will thank you. Also, schedule
some time with yourself to do
something you love. Nurture
the most important relationship
in your life — the one you have
with yourself. VowTo believes
putting yourself first isn’t selfish.
We all hear that little voice in
our heads sometimes. You know,
the one that likes to criticize
what we do, how we look, how
we feel. The key is to recognize
that negative voice, then turn
it into a voice of kindness…
both toward others and toward
yourself. When you take care
of yourself, you can better take
care of those around you. In their

Always try to practice an
attitude of gratitude. Every
morning, make it a point to go

for in your life. Making this a
