Irrefutable proof that the Key Biscayne Postal Service takes the carriage of the Isle’s
correspondence very seriously, the below image is assumed to have been taken in the
aftermath of 1965’s Hurricane Betsy, at the Corner of Ridgewood & West Enid Drive.
A low-lying island, The Key has always been prone to flooding from even the lightest of
thunderstorms, at least until the 1996 installation of comprehensive storm sewers. Note
the extension of the Key Biscayne Community School/K-8 Center in the “after” photo, not
