I sought an adventure that would let me experience the scenery of the Baja 1000 off-road race from the
comfort of paved roads and a great hotel each night. I found it in the form of EagleRiders “Baja With
Boorman” LA to Cabo San Lucas motorcycle ride.

Mexico’s Highway One stretches from Tijuana to the southern tip of The Baja Peninsula; there’s no need for a map — you literally
can’t get lost. Almost all of it is in better shape than much of I-95. It meanders from the Pacific with breaching whales and shrimp
tacos, across a desert straight out of a Hollywood cowboy movie, to the Sea Of Cortez’s achingly picturesque beaches and bays. Each
day we put about 250 miles on the bikes before we pulled into a 5-Star resort. A van loaded with our luggage followed behind so we
could travel fast and light. We rumbled through small cities, tiny towns, a few military checkpoints and many miles of grin-inducing
winding mountain roads. The sight and sound of a Harley V Twin is a universal language. Add in top-notch cuisine, movie star &
world-class adventurer Charley Boorman as Guest Tour Leader and perfect post-hurricane season weather and it added up to an epic
adventure with memories that will last a lifetime; EagleRider.com.
