The old adage of “the customer is always right” is something FIU took to heart when creating
its new invitation-only Executive MBA Program designed to teach seasoned professionals the
must-have skills for managing in the real world.

FIU viewed the standard Executive MBA curriculum as antiquated, so it redesigned its program to teach practical, applicable skills for
the 21st Century. “Like any new business venture, our Executive MBA evolved to meet the needs of our market,” says Angel J. Burgos,
Executive Director, FIU MBA Programs. “FIU faculty worked tirelessly with our alumni to create a series of interdisciplinary courses that
focus on navigating in a global environment, building high-performance organizations, creating social & economic value and developing
and implementing strategic innovation. “The program is offered to seasoned professionals who show exceptional promise and aptitude
for executive leadership. “FIU EMBAs will be exposed to world-class thinkers and executives, will work collaboratively on real-world
