Success C r e at i v e
Alaire Harris can swap careers like a wardrobe
change and go from model to metalsmith at
the drop of a hat. Like lightning, inspiration may
strike at any moment drawing on themes of
contrasting aesthetics, inner strength and nature.

Alaire Harris is represented by Runways: The Talent Group for
whom she does her fair share of promoting couture brands,
while her acting ability has landed her roles in commercials for
Unisom and EpiPen...but that’s only a percentage of her creative
output. She also fashions functional, chic pieces of wearable art.
The distinction between rusted ironwork with strikingly polished
accents could spin her into a new line of ornamental wear — or
she may see the golden ratio, a naturally occurring mathematical
relationship, in a mangrove forest which could later become
earrings or a swirling brooch. And this artist is not only motivated
by surface beauty, her Freedom Bangles Series honors Black
History by imprinting copper bracelets with the prison intake
numbers of Rosa Parks and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., to remind
us of sacrifices they made to advance civil rights; LairaLou.com.
