If you haven’t stopped
into Graziano’s lately,
you may want to make
the trip just so you
can meet Ciro Diaz,
a savvy, energetic
bartender who knows
exactly what you need
to have a good time
and a memorable
experience no matter
what time you drop by.

iro Diaz arrived to Miami from Mexico 10 years
ago, fell in love with the city and never left. It’s a
common story, but one that Diaz never planned on.
For the last 4 years, he’s worked at Graziano’s in Brickell,
finding his way from serving tables to serving cocktails
behind the bar. And he wouldn’t have it in any other way.
“I believe that a nice glass of wine goes great with dinner,
but at times you need a nice refreshing cocktail to open
up your appetite before your meal,” he says. That’s why
he likes serving up the Buenos Aires Martini which he’s
certain is the perfect cocktail to represent Argentina. But
don’t take his word for it, customers are loving it, too.
“It’s definitely a drink to remember,” he says. When he
isn’t cranking out libations, Diaz is in the gym lifting
weights or spinning. In the end, he claims to have 2 true
passions in life: fitness and serving. “The hospitality
industry is a true artform and one that I want to continue
to learn about and grow in,” he says. Luckily, he’s in a
great place to learn as the Graziano’s family-owned chain
of restaurants has been serving delicious Argentinean
fare since 1991 and is recognized as one of the best
steakhouses in Miami. “I love my job,” he says.
